AITA for charging my own sister full price for her wedding nails after she called my rates 'greedy' in the family chat??
ok so my sister Amanda (34F) is getting married in October and asked me back in March to do nails for her whole bridal party, SEVEN girls, full set gel-x with hand painted charms, the whole glam package. i'm a nail tech babe, this is literally how i pay my rent, so i quoted her my normal rate which came out to $650 for everyone including her. she FREAKED. said family should get it free as a wedding gift and that i'm her sister not some random client. i said i already comp her regular fills, this is a whole day of my time plus product costs, i'm not asking for extra just my actual rate. she posted in the FAMILY group chat that some people care more about money than blood and my mom (60F) chimed in with 'it's her SISTER Crystal' with three crying emojis. now half my aunts are texting me separately saying i'm being petty and the other half are saying good for me for having a backbone. Amanda hasn't spoken to me directly in seseven days, she's only communicating through mom. i offered a small discount, $500 total, and she said that just proves i was trying to profit off her wedding the whole time. i'm not doing this for free, i turn away paying clients to block that day off. am i really the a-hole here or is my family just used to me working for free forever 💅

nah charging your own price for your own skill aint greedy ong 🔥 sis trippin fr fr
Your TIME is your money girl! 💪 Family discount is one thing but FREE for 7 people?? That's a whole business day gone. NTA!!
Family should honor your labor, not demand it disappear. There is grace in setting a fair price. Not the A-hole, dear.
For the record, it is spelled 'seven,' not 'seseven.' Regardless, a business quote is not a gift request. Not the A-hole.
GIRL CHARGE FULL PRICE!!! your time and skill aint a WEDDING FAVOR 💪🛼 NTA all day
Should I stay in my house, move downtown, or move near my daughter in Ohio?
Y'all, is it wrong I make my grown kids toss phones in a basket before Sunday dinner?!
Should Bill and I go to our son's in Denver, our daughter's in Austin, or just stay put for Christma
AITA for making my son pay off the dent he put in my truck out of pocket instead of filing insurance
