AITA for demanding $600 morning-of when my sister's "free" bridal nails ballooned from 3 people to 9?
ok so my sister Amber (29F) is getting married in October and back in June she asked if I'd do her nails plus her 3 bridesmaids as my "wedding gift" since I'm a nail tech in vegas, that's literally my whole career babe. I said yes obviously, blocked off 5 hours, bought supplies out of pocket bc I wanted her to have the good stuff not my cheap salon stock. fast forward to the morning of, I show up and it's not 4 people it's NINE. her, her MIL, both moms, the flower girl's mom, two extra "honorary bridesmaids" she added last minute. nobody warned me. that's an 11 hour day of full sets, no assistant, no tip mentioned anywhere. I pulled her aside and said I could still do it but I needed $600 to cover the extra product and time or I'd only do the original 4 like we agreed. she FLIPPED OUT, said I was extorting her on her wedding day, said family doesn't do this to family. I stood my ground bc I have bills too, I'm not a charity. she found someone else last minute, it was rushed and apparently looked bad in photos. now she's not speaking to me, mom says I "ruined the morning" and should've just sucked it up since it's family. the group chat is a warzone.

Oh honey, this is a mess all around. She should have told you sooner, but springing a bill morning-of wasn't kind either. Everyone dropped the ball here. Blessings.
