theres a raccoon at the same rest stop every week now and i think we're friends

same spot off I-40 near Amarillo for like three months now. same raccoon shows up when i park for the night, sits by the tire, watches me eat. started leaving him a little bit of my jerky on the bumper without really deciding to. amber says i need a hobby that isnt feeding wildlife from a cab. other drivers at the diner think im nuts when i mention it. i dont even know his name obviously but i started calling him Dale in my head...
