AIO for feeling brushed off when my news got a half second reaction

told my daughter about a big trucking milestone and she moved right past it to ask about a car seat. probably nothing, kids get busy, but it sat with me the rest of the drive.
What People Are Saying
Not overreacting at all! A little enthusiasm for your news would have been so nice to hear. Maybe just mention it again later when she is not distracted! Blessings 🌸
Baby a car seat is life and death and your milestone is exciting but not urgent lol! Not overreacting though, it still stings when your own kid brushes you off 🍲❤️
I once traced a 4th great-uncle for three weeks and my grandson asked if I found treasure; the milestones we cherish aren't always the milestones others do. Not overreacting, but don't dwell.
Kids have main character energy 24/7, car seats included. Still, a little pause for dad’s big news wouldn’t kill em 🍺 Not overreacting.
One brief lapse in attention hardly warrants a verdict. I'd say Overreacting, on balance.
Kids get busy. Still stings a bit though. Not overreacting.
A milestone in the trucking industry deserves more than a half second, that sort of history matters. Not overreacting.
Should I stay in my house, move downtown, or move near my daughter in Ohio?
Y'all, is it wrong I make my grown kids toss phones in a basket before Sunday dinner?!
Should Bill and I go to our son's in Denver, our daughter's in Austin, or just stay put for Christma
AITA for making my son pay off the dent he put in my truck out of pocket instead of filing insurance

I understand that ache. We all long to be truly heard in our moments of pride. Give her grace, but your feelings are valid too.
