my 15 year old asked why our garage smells like a Jiffy Lube. thoughts

found out my son has been changing his own oil in the driveway since March. never asked me. never told me. just youtube videos and a Fumoto valve he bought with lawn mowing money. did it better than i did at his age. not sure if i should be proud or offended
