AITA for calling out my duo partner for bailing on our matching tattoo after i already got mine?
me (20m) and my duo partner marcus (21m) have queued together for like 2 years, real life friends outside game too. we always joked about getting a matching tattoo of our clan logo if we ever hit diamond rank together. we finally hit it in march and i actually went and got it done, small logo on my forearm, paid $180 out of pocket bc i wanted to lock it in before season reset. told marcus i booked him a spot at the same shop for the following week. day of his appointment he just doesnt show. texts me later saying his gf thinks its "cringe" and he doesnt wanna get judged at his internship this summer bc its on his wrist. i get that but this was HIS idea originally, i even have the screenshot of him hyping it up in our gc from january. now i got a permanent tattoo for a thing that only means something to one of us and i feel kinda played tbh. i brought it up in our scrim team gc, not even trash talking just said i wish he told me before i wasted the deposit and got inked for nothing. he says im making him look bad infront of the team and its not that deep, its just a tattoo. now hes been quiet in voice comms during scrims and some of the team thinks im overreacting for putting it on blast 😤
