AITA for leaving a nastier note back on the truck that boxed my van in overnight?
so i park at this same trailhead lot every week to get first light on the route, been doing it for like 8 months no issues. last night i get back from dinner and some guy's dually truck is parked so close behind me i literally cannot get my doors open let alone drive out. no note, no nothing, just parked like the lot's his personal driveway. i wait an hour, dude never shows. i end up sleeping in the driver's seat instead of my actual bed in the back like an idiot. this morning i write a note back that says something like "nice truck, shame you can't park it" and stick it under his wiper before i leave for the crag. come back down and there's a text on the community climbing group chat from a guy saying someone keyed the sarcasm right back at him and he's "never coming to that lot again." a few people in the chat are saying i escalated a nothing situation into a whole thing over one bad night's sleep. others think blocking someone in overnight deserves way worse than a note. my climbing partner thinks it's hilarious. my one van life friend says i started a turf war over a parking spot that isn't even mine to claim. am i in the wrong here 🧗🔥

Back in my day you left a note BEFORE you blocked someone in, not after. Guy got what he deserved. NTA.
