AITA for calling out my best friend for secretly training with another coach behind my back
so my boy dante (30m) and me been tight since college, i started coaching him free for like 6 months getting him ready for his first powerlifting meet, no charge no nothing bc thats my dude. couple weeks ago i see a story from one of the other coaches at my box, dante repping out squats, tagged and everything, same day he told me he was resting his knee lol. turns out hes been paying this dude for extra sessions on the side for over a month and just never said nothing to me. i brought it up at the gym in front of a couple people we both know bc i was heated ong, told him if he needed something different he could've just told me instead of sneaking around like i was gonna be mad about money. he said it felt like everything always gotta be my way or no way and that he didnt wanna hurt my feelings so he just didnt mention it. now he not really answering my texts and our group chat got real quiet, couple people said i embarrassed him for no reason, couple said he was foul for lying this whole time. i still think the sneaking is worse than anything i said fr fr
