AITA for cutting my best friend from my stream after he tanked my numbers?
So my buddy Marcus has been co-streaming with me on Twitch for like 3 months, ever since I hit affiliate. He's fun in person but on camera he interrupts my commentary, talks over donations, and one time straight up told a sub "nobody cares about your $5, we broke here anyway" mid-stream. I've watched my average viewers drop from like 28 to under 10 since he started showing up regular. Last Friday I finally told him I wanted to solo stream for a while to "rebuild the vibe." He goes quiet, then says "oh so I'm the problem, cool cool cool" and left the call. Now he's telling our group chat I ditched him the second I got "a little bit of clout" and two other guys are side eyeing me about it too. I get it stings but I've been grinding this stream idea for over a year hoping it actually goes somewhere and I feel like I finally have to protect it. Did I torch a friendship over pixels or was I right to draw the line.
