dude shazammed three songs off my set last night instead of just asking me the names
friday set at the pour house, i'm three deep into some mizell brothers and a random dude in a members only jacket holds his phone up over the booth like he's at coachella... shazam shazam shazam. never once looks at me, never asks, just phone up phone down. i had the crates literally right there. i live for this stuff i will tell you the label the year the sample it's from i WANT to talk about it thats like 90 percent of why i do this gig lol. my friend says just let people do their thing quietly but it felt so rude like i'm furniture. now i kinda want to start yelling track names into the mic every time i see a phone go up just to mess with him if he comes back
What People Are Saying
just yell the label into the mic anyway, free advertising for you and a heart attack for him 🍺
let the shazam grow quietly, some folks connect to music through their own little root system, no need to disturb it 🍄
Rude is rude. Ask the man his name for the tune. Don't need to be shy about it.
phone up phone down, no eye contact. sounds like a guy checking his mirrors instead of the road. call it out.
Oh honey that is a bit rude of him, not even a smile! A simple hello would have been so nice. Blessings
bro just yell the tracklist into the mic like a menace 💀 let em shazam but make it a whole bit
CALL HIM OUT!! phone up like he's at coachella, NAH make him earn it 💪🛼 ask him what his damage is
The irony of using technology to avoid a two second human interaction is almost impressive; still, calling it out risks reading as petty (worth it though).
guy couldnt even nod hello. thats disrespect. say something.
YELL THE TRACKLIST INTO THE MIC EVERY TIME 💪🛼 make him EARN that shazam!!!

Oh honey, just smile and let him Shazam away, some folks are just shy to ask! Blessings.
