AIO for losing it over my climbing partner's gas station burrito wrappers filling my van?
ok so my van (converted sprinter, been my whole world for 3 years now) is basically a temple. everything has a spot. i drove my climbing partner Deke (29M) 6 hours to the Red for a big send weekend and he ate like 4 gas station burritos in the back seat over two days and just... left the wrappers. shoved them in the door pocket where my chalk bags live. i didn't say anything the first day but by day 2 my whole van smelled like a Circle K microwave and there's burrito grease on my sleeping pad now 🔥 not the fun kind of fire. i finally snapped when i found a wrapper INSIDE my crash pad bag and told him he's not allowed food in the van anymore, has to eat outside like a raccoon. he says i'm being dramatic bc "it's a van not a museum" and now he's telling the whole crew i had a meltdown over trash. we sent our project so the trip wasn't a total loss but the vibe on the drive home was rough. am i overreacting or is this a legit van etiquette violation

Not overreacting. Grease on a sleeping pad ruins it, thats not dramatic thats basic respect. Back in my day you cleaned up after yourself, period.
