should i quit my job at the shoe store to go all in reselling flips

ok so i (17M) been working weekends at footlocker since like october for $11 an hr just to have steady cash and my mom feel better about me not being reckless after the whole situation with my dad's money last month lol. but the jordan drop calendar for next few months is stacked and my boy who copped early last year straight up doubled his money in a week, like $600 profit off one pair. if i quit i get my whole weekend back to camp lines, flip on multiple sites, and actually scale this instead of doing it in like 2 free hrs after close. but if it flops i got no backup income and my parents already side eyeing the reselling thing bc of the dad stuff. my manager also just offered me more hrs for the holidays which is guaranteed money vs the drops being a gamble every time bots and restocks mess everything up. dad said do whatever i want but i can tell he thinks im dumb for it. idk if im about to make real money or just torch a stable job for hype
