So my roommate Priya (30F) got dumped by her boyfriend of 4 years back in March, dog walker included (yes, THAT dog walker, don't ask). She cried on our couch for a week and told me everything, the texts, the amount of money he owed her, all of it, roommate to roommate in confidence. Two weeks ago I bombed the first five minutes of my set (standard Tuesday) so I pivoted to a bit about "my friend's" ex leaving her for a guy who charges $20/hr to walk a chihuahua. Killed. Actually killed for once. Someone filmed it on their phone and it ended up on the mic's TikTok with 40k views before I even knew it existed. Priya's cousin sent it to her. She recognized every detail down to the dog's name. She hasn't spoken to me in five days, our third roommate Marcus (34M) is doing that thing where he relays messages between us like we're in a divorce, and the group chat is split 50/50 between "that's messed up" and "comedy is theft, everyone knows the rules." I did change her name. I did not change literally anything else. AITA?
