live with two guys from the meet scene, Dez (27m) is one of them, dating Mia (24f) for like 6 months. at a meet two weekends ago Mia's hanging around my car the whole time, touching my arm every other sentence, asks for my number "for meet updates" while Dez is literally 10 feet away talking suspension setups with someone else. i just kinda laughed it off and didn't give her my number, figured it was nothing or she was just being friendly and drunk on energy drinks lol. didn't say anything to Dez that night or the next day. honestly kept telling myself i was overthinking it. then a week later our other roommate Trent (26m) makes some joke like "careful bro Mia's got a thing for the garage rats" and Dez's face just drops and i had to explain everything right there in the kitchen. now Dez is pissed i sat on it that long, says a real friend tells him same night not a week later after someone else basically outs it. Mia's telling him i'm exaggerating and she was just being nice. Dez isn't really talking to me, house group chat is dead silent since sunday and it's making the garage genuinely awkward
