AITA for blowing up my roommate's group chat over him taking my car without asking
so my roommate dev (24m) borrowed my car sunday night without asking me first, i was at a car meet till like 1am and my phone died so he couldn't reach me anyway which is his excuse. found out because his situationship posted a story of them cruising in MY car with my sticker fam decals in the background lol. no scratch no ticket nothing actually happened to it but that's not the point, he's never asked once in the 8 months we've lived together, he just took the spare key off the hook. i called him out in our 3 person roommate group chat instead of just texting him, said something like "bro next time you wanna cosplay as the car guy maybe ask first" and our other roommate marco (26m) is now stuck in the middle bc dev says i embarrassed him in front of marco over nothing since the car came back fine. thing is i've def grabbed dev's torque wrench and his obd2 scanner out of his room before without texting him, so now he's throwing that back at me saying i'm a hypocrite. car is a $31k build i've put way more into than either of them know so i'm territorial about it, not gonna apologize for that part but maybe the group chat callout was overkill idk
