duke my rooster crowed at the exact second the mayor started talking at the ribbon cutting for the new grange hall saturday. whole crowd laughed and now three different people have told me they think i trained him to do it for a bit. i did not train him. he does that at 7am every single day rain or shine, mayor or no mayor. but the story going around town is way funnier than the truth and honestly business at my stand has never been busier, folks keep coming by just to see the famous rooster. my neighbor thinks i should come clean before it gets out of hand. i think duke earned this one honestly and i am not in a hurry to ruin it
