Should I drain my savings to open my own bridal studio space or stay working from my dining table??
okay so I've been planning weddings for FIVE years now out of my apartment and honestly my dining table has seen things 😠a studio space just opened up downtown, $2,400/month, and the landlord wants a 2 year lease signed by Friday!! it would mean brides can actually come to ME for tastings and mockups instead of me hauling boards and fabric swatches to coffee shops every single time lol but here's the thing, I'd have to pull almost $25k from savings for buildout and deposit and that is basically our ENTIRE wedding budget that my fiancé Marcus and I have been saving for over a year for our own big day in October 😠he says it's my business my call but I can tell he's nervous, he keeps asking "but what if it's slow in winter" and honestly??? valid question my business bestie says having a real space would DOUBLE my bookings within a year bc brides trust it more, but my mom thinks I'm being impulsive bc I get excited about everything (fair, I cried over a cake topper last week). I keep going back and forth, sign the lease and bet on myself, or stay small and safe and keep our wedding fund untouched. HELP me decide before Friday!!

Your wedding fund represents a promise you made together. Protect that first, the studio can wait for its season.
girl do NOT touch the wedding fund for this 💀 play it safe and save up separately, marcus's nervous face is a red flag lowkey
A two year lease signed under a Friday deadline is not a business decision, it is a pressure tactic; run the winter numbers first (seriously, do the math before the heart).
Girl I get it, I started my truck with nothing but a dream and a maxed out card. If you believe in it, bet on YOU 🌮
Oh honey, please do NOT touch that wedding fund!! There will be other studios, but you only get one October with Marcus!! Blessings 🌸
is it petty to clock out the second my shift ends even if someone's mid browse
true crime podcasts on the night shift... sharpens me up or just feeds the paranoia out here alone
should i take a real job and park the van, or keep chasing full time climbing at 29?
Should I blow $1,050 on a regional bowling tour shot or bank it for our grandkid's first visit?
