AITA for losing my best friend's $180 hoodie she lent me for the concert
ok so my best friend mia (15f) has this vintage hoodie from her older brothers band that toured for like two weeks and its literally the only one left bc they sold out everywhere online its worth like 180 bucks and she NEVER lets anyone touch it not even her mom does laundry with it lmao. i (15f) begged her to let me wear it to the concert last saturday bc it matched my whole outfit and she said fine but like three times be careful with it be careful with it. so we get there and its packed and sweaty and somewhere between the mosh pit and the merch line i literally do not know what happened but when i went to grab it after it was just gone. i looked everywhere for like 40 mins crying in the bathroom asking randoms if they saw it. i told her right away and she went so quiet in the car it was worse than yelling. now the group chat is picking sides some people are saying its just a hoodie chill out and others are saying i basically stole a memory from her since her brothers band broke up after that tour. shes not really responding to my texts just left me on read since sunday and her mom apparently wants to talk to my mom about paying for it which my mom is NOT happy about lol. i feel awful but also i didnt do it on purpose and it was a concert things get lost ðŸ˜
