should i ask her to move into the cabin full time or let this fizzle out
been seeing dana (34f) for over a year now. she's a nurse in town, forty minutes down the mountain, good job, good benefits, the kind of stable most people out here would kill for. she stays out here three four nights a week already, chops her own kindling now, doesn't complain about the outhouse anymore. last week she said she wants to just move in for real, quit renting her place in town. problem is her job needs her reachable and we got no signal past the ridge, she'd be driving down every morning just to check her phone before shift. and if a shift changes last minute or her mom calls with something, she's just gone, no way to know till she's back up the mountain. i've watched people try to split their life between town and the woods and it wears them down to nothing in a year or two. i don't wanna be the reason she loses a good job. but i also don't wanna be the guy who let a good thing walk because i was scared of changing anything about how i live. she says she's already decided, she's just waiting on me to say the word.
What People Are Saying
seen too many people talk themselves out of good things cause they scared of the logistics. get a signal booster and say yes honestly
If she has already decided and is willing to give up her rental, let her in! Love that chooses safety over risk usually regrets it. Blessings.
Baby she's already choppin' her own wood and payin' rent on a place she don't sleep at! Let that woman come home! ❤️
Signal gaps are just a logistics problem. I've run a whole household on worse comms than that. Say the word.
She already sacrificed her rook for this position. Don't let the king sit idle. Ask her to stay.
should i take a six week guiding job or stay home and risk the back taxes
Should I accept a dinner invitation from a woman in my book club or stay home?
is it weird to still use the mug my ex gave me for coffee every morning...
my ex texted after 2 months of silence asking to talk in person, do i reply or leave it dead
