ok so my best friend Jenna (30F) is getting married in FIVE days here in Vegas and back in Feb i offered to do her nails as my gift to her, we're talking a full set with hand painted details that i normally charge $180 for, for FREE babe. last week her maid of honor Ashley (31F) accidentally sent ME a screenshot from their bridal party group chat where Jenna said my "ombre french is so 2019" and that she's "just letting Crystal do it so she doesn't get offended." i confronted her about it same night and she full on denied saying it until i sent her the screenshot back, then she flipped and said i was being dramatic and it was "just a joke with the girls" and i need to relax bc it's HER wedding. so now i'm sitting here 5 days out like do i still show up and do her nails for free after that?? i told her either she apologizes for real or i'm not doing them and she can pay someone else last minute. she's telling the bridal party i'm holding her wedding hostage over "one comment." half the group chat thinks i'm overreacting, the other half thinks she's lucky i'm not charging her double. we haven't spoken since.
