AITA for kicking my climbing partner out of my van mid-trip after she brought her boyfriend along uninvited?
me (31M) live full time in my van, been climbing partners with Jess (27F) for like 2 years. planned this 3 week trip to Indian Creek and Moab, split gas and permits 50/50, figured out the whole route together. day of pickup she shows up with her boyfriend Mike (29M) and his whole duffel bag like it's a given he's coming. never asked me, never texted, just assumed cause "he's chill and wants to climb too." van sleeps 2 comfortable, 3 is a nightmare, my whole setup is dialed for exactly this. i said something right away and she got defensive, said i was being rigid about "my little house rules." we did 4 days like that, cramped, him not really climbing just hanging at the crag eating my snacks, and honestly the vibe was shot. i pulled into a gas station in Blanding and told her i couldn't keep doing the full trip like this, either he gets a hotel or bus situation or i'm turning around solo. she called me controlling and said i humiliated her in front of Mike. we drove back mostly silent, she's telling the group chat i "ambushed" her states away from home with no warning. i'm not talking to her now and honestly not sure i want to climb with her again over this.
